Want To Start Growing

Hey ICMag community. I am a aussie and pretty much know nothing about growing pot. I have attempted 1 outdoor grow but majorly failed. Anyways I am just wondering if there is anyone who can either take me through the basic of a simple and cheap outdoor grow or link me to a tutorial. I dont want to sell it would just be for personal use. And also what would be the best strain for keeping the plant small and regularly trimming (like a bonsai) but still yeilds big buds. Thanks in advanced for anyone that helps.

Best advice I can offer is to go to the Cannabis Growing Outdoors forum
and read all of the sticky posts.
Then go up to the top of the page and click on Site Menu and select
the Grow Tutorials from the drop down menu.
I can link you up to some old guides, but the best information is here, on icmag.

Oh yeah, Much of the info says plant on the south side.
Much of it is written for growing on the north side of the equator.

If your down under you will want to plant on the north side.
So if it says "south facing slope" it will should say "north facing slope".

There are plenty of good people on here who are willing to help you.

Do you have any ideas or description of why your first grow failed?

Actually thats why I asked here because I know majority of you guys are from America. Can anyone hook me up with a link to a good, cheap Australian tutorial. I need to know pretty much everything. I have looked at the harvest times and planting times but assume this is for America. Also I need to know whats the best fertilizer for Australia and shit like that. Thanks.

Well, you're on the right site for info.

Best advice I can possibly give you is to start reading all the stickies in each forum section. Keep reading until you've found a grow method that looks like it will work in your location.... and also a method that has a LOT of people using it.... especially folks that post great grows and advice.

Once you've read for 3-4 months and things start getting to seem the same.... start your grow. If you've done your homework well, you'll either not need any help... or if you do have problems, there will be plenty of folks using the method that can help you out.

Stay Safe!
