hey everyone!

I just cut the buds off my stem and half of the plant's inside is covered with mold.

Would it be safe to make butter with this stuff or is it a lost cause?

I think I read somewhere u can make bubblehash out of it but I would be noid fuckin with moldy bud.Good luck with it.What strain was it? Peace Bm357

sorry to hear bout the mold, I wouldn't recommend eatin it though bubblehash is the only remedy i've heard of.

it was bagseed I only grew one little plant. F***

1st grow so I guess i can only hope that I learn from the experience.
I didn't have a fan on when drying (possible cause?) or it could have happened during the 140 days of flowering (many stress problems/ heat issues/ nute burn / lack of nutes/ over watering/ no ventilation)

If the weed is worth saving, trim off mold after a few days a dry light, regrow under veg light cycle, bud again, and this time keep the bud from mold conditions.

only worth it to clone a keeper that you foolishly let get moldy.

lol shit man 140 days of flower that's mental...i recommend getting some short ass flowering BOG seeds and just growing again after u get ur plan sorted out...as far as what to do with it now don't smoke it, if u can make some BHO or hash out of it do that but u can get hella sick smoking moldy bud...

i too got mold on a bout 1/4 lb of semi dried bud. im sure it was there as i picked it but dint see it as the bud tips all got frost bit. after searching the the various forums, i decided to water cure it. seemed to have taken care of it. and in the future, i may water cure my own personal stash as it is waaaay smooth. and all the bro's think it the bomb

what causes mold? my humidity was between 30-50% while growing and drying. Could it be the insanely long flowering time? Most of the leaves on the plant died, I tried to trim the dead stuff off but couldn't get it all is this a bud-rot issue? Gonna try and use some nutes next time and not miracle grow!

well.. i know mold spores can probably get into your hash, but they'll get crushed in the presing process. i would be skeptical about Bubblehashing mouldy buds.. I would cut out the moldy parts. if you are dying to use the moldy parts, then use butane extraction and get some nice honey oil.. thats the only thing ive heard of for sure that'll take care of mold.
