Hey everyone.

Ive found a doctor that is willing to sign my papers to posses/grow.

Heres my background;

No criminal record for starters.(not even a traffic ticket)

Heres my full story

-(1999) i was diagnosed with ulsrative colitis on my 13th birthday.
- tried many pills/steroids/other stuff
-- the pills made me feel like i had arthritis. There were some days i wasnt able to move my knee joints or they'd hurt soooo much, ther was no way of bending completly thats for sure! The pain would come and go. Usually after gym classes, by the time i got home, i would be stuck in bed for 3 - 4 days straight. taking a dump was almost impossible i would literally just end up falling backwards on the toilet and both my legs go straight in the air, so that i would bend them to cause pain.

-(2004) Pains still coming and going. High school just finished, and for me completing high school was amazing, some of my friends smoked weed at the time, i didnt. So, i told them since were done let me try it. nothing really the first time. smoked again a few days later, and i felt great.

oh and btw, for the last 5 years almost every shit i had was liquid diareha and i was going about 4 times a day.(most 22 times!)

-(2004Summer)After smoking for a few weeks(maybe 6 weeks) i noticed a huge change. I then said fuck the pills im on a full weed regiment.

-(2008) Ive been to many different doctors to try and sign my papers. NOTHING.

-(2009winter) I find a regular health doctor online that had something to do with weed. So, i made an appointment.

1st time@docs - I mention to him that i smoke. he talks about calm.

4weeks later 2nd time@docs - I get the permission from the doctor to get into calm

4months later 3rd time@docs - we talk about setting me up to grow, i take a drug test(which i only do weed)

3weeks later 4th time@docs - then tells me i need a photo id + $$$ (drug test came back but we never discussed them, which will come back positive for weed but nothing else)

Now its today, and i need to make an appointment.

OH... Did i ever get back to you about my shits? Well, im only taking one shit a day, and there perfectly fine now, unless a weekend of lots of booze.

Weeds the perfect drug for me.

Hey Night, that's great that you found a doctor to sign your papers, now you will be able to smoke and grow safely. I wish people could be so open minded about weed in my country.

My doctor already sent his side of the forums off last week. I know there supposed to be together, to make it easier, but what can u do....

So im guessing ill have to wait like 10 weeks from now. so sadddd

They have changed the law.

All you need is your regular health doctor to sign. PERIOD.

He(regular health doctor) will need:

A specialst saying you have a disease (mine is ulsrative colitis)

2 passport photos

He (regular health doctor) signs the papers saying medical cannabis is the best treatment for you.

(i am just about to send my side of the papers off, my doctor already sent his side. oh btw my side of the papers are...

damn i cant find them on the health canada website... but its basicaly a part where i say i want to grow, inside or outside, or outside in the summer and inside in the winter. i choose inside all year long.

then my parents need to sign it, cause im living with them right now(if u were living at a condo, all u need to do is ask your superindent get permission, then ur good.

i think thats all.

So you are saying then that you have a specialists report??? If you are saying that you have confirmation from a specialist of your condition, that is called a report... Also they don't just have to state that you have something but also what other more conventional treatments you have tried that have failed. " Under Category 2, persons with debilitating symptoms can apply to obtain an Authorization to Possess dried marihuana for medical purposes, if a specialist confirms the diagnosis and that conventional treatments have failed or judged inappropriate to relieve symptoms of the medical condition. While an assessment of the applicant's case by a specialist is required, the treating physician, whether or not a specialist, can sign the medical declaration.

So you basically have to exhausted all conventional treatment THEY deem acceptable in your case, which is why it make a huge difference if your specialist, who is your treating physician for that perticular ailment, is on board with medical cannabis.

I started 4 years ago under cat 2 for chronic pain and fibromyalgia but have since changed my status 2 years ago during my renewal with my diagnosis of MS.

You don't have to try every pharma drug under the sun or even try one before you can judge it inappropriate. for my condition the pharmaceutical substances which doctors recommend are toxic and have lots of side-effects. I will not use them under any circumstances not even to try out. "or judged inappropriate" is the key phrase here
