Hi all , my grow cupboard is somewhat on the small size max i can really grow in there is 2 ,as I have ended up with 2 males previously im back to germing 6 seeds , my dilemma is that id like to maximize
my chances of getting a female ,has anyone a solution cheers!

its roughly 50/50 m/f, but sods law states if you start 2 seeds, chances are both turn out boys. yup been there too, 2 lovely plants veged for ages, i flowers them and get boys!! months wasted.
so i started my last seeds, i found one female i REALLY liked. reveged it, took cuttings and i can keep that female for ever. no pissing about sexing plants ever!
so my answer is find a female and clone it. seeds are the same always a lottery, theres nothing you can do to get more females

alot of people would argue there is plenty you can do to increase female % from seed.

get EVERYTHING right, ALL the time

watering
nutes
light
spectrum
temperature
relative humidity

evidence suggests weeks 3 and 4 of vegetive growth are critical in securing a plants sex. do not train, transplant or stress them in any way whatsoever, especially in these weeks.

wont there also be evidence that the sex of the plant was decided as the seed was formed after polination.

easy way to get female lol germ lot of seeds still 50/50 but half of 4 is 2 half of 8 is 4 better odds. Put them in small pots and sex them kill males and keep 2 females (just an opinion lol

I've flowered 6 clones now from a femmed seed mom and never seen a hermy. Others see hermies /shrug what can ya do but try it out for yourself.

Mostly i think ppl think femmed seeds come from hermy plant so carry the hermy trait...this just isnt true most femmed seeds come from chemical application like silver colloid or giberic (spelling) acid and most plants treated are seriously tested for the hermy trait.I guess it all depends where your femmed seeds come from ???
