Could this be a result of not topping correctly? I have no pests on her or any of the other ladies, that I can see.

yes, it can. and probably is.
if you top and not remove the node completely the leaves that already emerged will be cut like that. Had it quite a few times, nothing to worry about. I had light burns as well that look the same. |

Thanks for the reply. I checked on them today, still no sign of catapillars or other pests and it don't look like there is anymore damaged leaves!
