is it organic if you spray for pests?

Does it depend if you use "organic pest sprays" or not? Most of the soap type organic sprays I've tried don't even bug the aphids
(ha ha)-and forget the leaf miners. I have to use something stronger. Someone mentioned neem. Is that organic?
Thank you

Of course, you can spray for pests when you want to do some organic growing. You just need to pick things that are plant-based and that don't contain any chemicals.

Neem oil is a good one. Really useful in a spray formula as well as more concentrated on the leaves, when necessary.

This is a resources I've used in the past:

You might also want to check out:

Lots of great advice on both of these sites which should help you out.

All organic means is that the grows don't include any chemicals. It's really easy to decide whether you have any chemicals in a product just by looking at the label. If you don't recognize the ingredient, then it's probably a chemical.

Good luck!

Thank you.
I ordered some Neem Oil. Why does it say it is a Foliar feed-does this also help with pests? How do you really know anything is truly organic? What if someone sneaks
in a non organic pest spray or two when the plant is young. Does that mean the end
buds aren't organic?
