Hi all

A few months back i purchased a standard pack of bubblicious seeds and currently in my 5x2x2 with a 90 watt ufo Led , my problem is a space issue if anything. Recently i found that i ended up with 1 male and the other looks like its a male, so is it worth trying another 4 beans or worth buying feminized seeds to avoid the hassle?

That is part of grower, as a rule of thumb you start 2 x as many beans as you need

So you buy 4 femmed seeds, and 2 dont really make it, so you are still back to two.

Always start more than you need, take the best and strongest, cull the rest

As for commercial femmed seeds, I don't really care to have chemicals sprayed on my seeds that i plan on consuming eventually....

its worth growing them all and taking a cutting and growing a male and polinating so u have clones and seeds. the hassel is only there the one time, you find a nice clone and its no effort ever again to have a pheno that you like ready
i think i ive only found the best phenos after flowering all 10, making seeds, then finding a nice mum out of those seeds. its why you need males and females
starting seeds is a pain, like a lottery, you never know what you're going to get, a runt, a mutant, a dud, a male, a female, a hermi, crap pheno or good pheno...

I also hate chemical weed but ethylene is a good natural feminiser, got bananas?

If you're using regular beans, you can increase your chances by having a stable climate.
Keep the temperature at room temperature: 72*F, keep the PH, humidity in an acceptable range. And cycle the air a plenty (watch humidity). Having un-natural light lengths above 16/8 increase the chances of males. Keep the light sched at 16/8, from the start.
