2 Healthy Males, dont know what to do with them!
Hi guys,
This is my first grow and I grew 2 from seed and 4 clones. Well the seeds became males and now I do not know what to do with them? I would HATE to just kill them. 1 x Strawberry Diesel Male - 19" 1 x Purple Cat Piss Male - 16" Perhaps someone local can take them off my hands? I am in the Bay Area. Thanks! |

Either kill them or flower them in a separate area and store the pollen for future use but, get them out of your grow. A single pollinated stem can produce hundreds of seeds. No need to seed the entire grow.

Thanks for the advise guys. I tried calling a few dispensaries and they wanted nothing to do with them. I took them outside to get some sunshine before they die. Here are the pics...

males
Everyone says to throw them out. I'm a newbie grower, but
why waste them? Take the pollen sacs off and store if you might want to pollinate some females, and then wny not dry, cure and smoke the leaves? We did-and the high wasn't bad. In the old days people smoked leaves, didn't care what strain it was or what sex.... What do you experts say??? |

Well, they are certainly are healthy. Maybe not big enough to be worth it but you can always make budder out of the leaves/pollen sacks. I did it with a few large outdoor males, wow, strong budder! Keeping in mind though these plants were fairly large and in full male flower.
They sound like decent strains though. Keep the pollen otherwise.
