sorry to say but out of 6 LSD's 3females all different the fattest just threw bannanas on the main cola im trying to manage by trimming the nanners off as they emerge it definitely needs another week at least to be close to maturity the second is very crystally not as much yield(2 weeks to go) the third is my twin (2+weeks to go)which is a basic runt of the litter it's weaker twin sis died as a seedling another side note they took forever to begin flowering but when they did the exploded i hope they don't all hermie near the finish though so lsd growers beware and use your eyes and magnifiers if you got them i almost chopped her early but chose the mutilation route (snip the nanners) well i still have sweet cindy to play with later.....bog swt cindy vintage 2003 is pure swt3x c99 correct ?or did you bx to a bogbubble? i am confused by a thread of yours plz clear this up thx ......b4 anyone thinks im bashing lsd im just reporting feedback that is what this forum is for right? PEACE CANNAPIMP

Hi CANNAPIMP
I germed 5 LSD and got 3 fems and 1 male. I kept the male to pollinate 1 fem which I harvested and have some of those seeds growing now, about 4 inches tall now. I have the other 2 hanging now. They took about 65 days and I thought they might have taken longer because of a light leak but I didn't find any hermies on any of them. I really don't know what I'm doing, just playin around, but this is great fun. THANKS BOG Safe growing to all Slowmoe |

You have any light leaks? So far we have had no other reports of this and usually when these occur in late flowering this can be the reason. So none are true hermies but you have bananas. That is a bummer. Of course I will advise people to watch for this and report it to me. The first batch have all been sold but more have been restocked and are from the same seed batch.
As far as the SC99 you got it does have some bubblegum in it. Only the first crosses didn't and some of those were given away but none sold. Some first and second bx have been sold and all current seeds are 2nd Bx as were all sent last year I believe. BOG

Light leaks and pH shifts (you might not have noticed a pH spike, but the plants certainly will-)....at particular timeframes will most definately induce 'nanas....and the Afghani/HAWAIIAN dad that Soma used in his NYCD is particularly sensitive to environment....and most sativas are,in fact.....
Check EVERYTHING before you lay it on the genetics,I've been working with Soma's NYCD for a couple of years now,and have stress-tested it, harrassed it,and generally trialled it, and it's not PRONE to 'nanas, but if you deviate from your norm or muck w the pH or light leaks, you'll definately have issues.... And if they had a stressed childhood I've found that tends to factor in on how they flower,as well. Post some pics, and if you figure out what your particular deviation was (if any) please share so that others might exercise caution in the future. I'd be happy to help if I can. Cheers! **Totel, below,is right....muni h20 changes w the seasons, and well water does,as well....mineral spikes and pH shifts can raise all sorts of hell. *waves HIGH!* wow... that was good info Rez regarding a PH shift or change, and the possible adverse impact in late flowering.
Makes a great deal of sense too... the culprit may well be in your Muni Water Supplier.. its Springtime in haf the world, and often times water companies do different stuff to the water at season change. *shrugs* Sorry to hear about what happened... tho late in flower isn't all bad. Buds will still "work" so to speak. hee hee hee Thanks for sharing your experience... best wishes on your future harvest... and future grows. *waves bye* Akiko

After pollination beans take (varyingly) about 50 days to mature,
depending on various factors....some longer than others.... If you're not having ANY other probs,well....don't clone THAT girl, and move on to the next.... Am glad the Apollos worked out for ya,the next up in the Apollo Projects is A13Trip/A11 x Sour Diesel, due at May's end at SeedsDirect....and that's the only Apollo hybrid that we did, this run.....but if you're into Sensi Star,we did a nice Sour Star that's just finishing up,as well..... Cheers! |
