I have a Skywalker plant that I really want to keep going because its been very easy to maintain so far. I have a pretty good idea on how to clone, all I need to know is would it be bad to clone a plant the day you switch the light schedule to 12/12? I dont know if it would affect growth a lot or anything. Also the lights will probably be off when I take the cuttings since im switching to 12/12. would that be a problem at all?

Nope, you can successfully take clones 2-3 weeks after you switch to 12/12. It won't affect growth unless you are taking away a large part of the plants mass, or if you take the top. But simply clipping a few lower side branches for clones won't have an effect on growth.

I do SOG and trim lateral growth at about 2 weeks into 12/12. I use this material for clones with out any problems.
