Indica question for the masters
Hola mis amigos,
Charlie, Ras, Dubi and others, Now that the Pakistani are out, and Cannabiogen has just re-stocked Taskenti, I am wondering if you can provide us with some added information. I am sorry to ask you to compare strains, but what I am hoping to hear are some of the positive traits of each. 1. Which of the Ace/Cannabiogen indicas has a deeper longer effect? Can you talk a little more about the subtleties of the highs? I believe I read that Dubi thought the Taskeneti was opium strong, but I also like complex highs like some of DJ Short's strains. 2. If I were crossing one of these indicas with a sativa like Panama or OT Haze for example, would it be more interesting to use the Indica for the male or the female? Loving some Destroyer right now - thanks guys! ![]() m0lecule |

Nice to see you m0lecule,
CBG's taskenti (uzbeki line) without any doubt has the deeper long lasting effect, very narcotic and medicinal, pakistan chitral it's not so powerful but more euphoric, great indica choice for day time smoke. I'd recommend you to use the sativa as the mother and the indica for male selection, usually straight sativa-indica F1s grow shorter in size and flowering time than indica-sativas crosses. And pure sativas produce plenty more seeds than pure indicas! Good luck with your breeding projects. dubi |

Hey dubi, good to see you too!
I appreciate the thoughtful response as always. It will be fun to experiment with the highs of both of these strains, and also see what I can create on my own. A little bird told me there may be some feminized Haze Pakistani crosses coming along which would be a great example of what I am trying to do on my own. The Spanish spring time must be getting quite nice. Please take care hiding your outdoor experiments! Peace, m0lecule |

Hey folks, just checking back in. Thanks for the message Lean. Here is some news.
I successfully hit a very purple Destroyer mom with DJ Flo pollen and Blackberry pollen to make 2 new crosses, but haven't grown them out yet. I also picked up Taskeneti as well as PCK, and am planning some interesting sativa/indica experiments (with the indica as the dad as per Dubi's guidance) Purple Panama x PCK Destroyer Flo x Taskeneti Mango Haze F2 x PCK etc. I will report back or start a new thread when I get to these. The Destroyer was surprising! Very frosty and very purple and foxtailed, but the highest yield in the box. 100% calyxes. The high is strong, but not overpowering, and not too electric at all. After an hour or so it is actually very mellow and relaxing, and you wouldn't necessarily think it was sativa. I did let it go very long last fall so that is also a factor. It is what Dubi calls "dense". Zero anxiety, edginess, or paranoia, and almost a bit heavy leaning toward a little foggy. Not at all heavy like an indica though. And no headache or hangover. Very good breeding job and very cool effect! And very nice when mixed with a happy light Flo in a joint - perhaps a preview of how the cross will be. What I love to do, and I do it every night, it to take some tokes, get in bed next to the wife, put my headphones on and dream up crosses. I mentally grow them out, look at various phenos, mentally smoke them and imagine what could be. I am just a personal med user and have very little space, but I love to buy seeds from great breeders like Ace, Cannabiogen, DJ and Shanti, so alot of my grows are "virtual". Can you imagine the various children of Purple Haze / Panama crossed with Chocolate Rain (Chocolope x Cocoa Kush)? Such variety in structure and highs. Once I get excited enough, I pull the trigger and do the deed. Enjoy life people. The precious herb has alot to offer. Peace! m0lecule |
