Free Nitrogen?
I have been sidetracked investigating water frequency. It lead me to Viktor Schauberger. Here is a tidbit of his research that could be very useful in our reserviors. I am using a 320gph pump with a riser and horizontal 1/2" PVC capped, but with holes drilled to shoot the nutes out in an effort to oxygenate to the max. Replacing the PVC with copper might eliminate the need for adding N...
"If the farmers were to change to copper ploughs the need for a nitrogen supplement would be permanently diminished and so the Director demanded compensation. Viktor was furious and sent him packing. However shortly after his contract was terminated by the company and representatives from the local agricultural society begun warning farmers against using the copper plough as it would lead to over production and the eventual fall in prices." FYI: Since I began flushing last Friday, with 90ppm HSS, I have noticed new pistils; AND it seems my leafs are a lush green as seen in both Covert and Osirica's pics of their Growing with sea mineral threads.

How does using copper tubing add N to your nutrient mix?

WHY?
you brought UP the topic, and it's YOUR thread if it's THAT good information, why not share? I HATE searching, btw, I'm sure I'm not alone, since it's YOUR thread, why not YOU post a link? otherwise it's "look at this thing!, now go read up on it! right now!" see?

I shared as much as I found. You can decide how you want to proceed with what I presented.
You could start with spending 3 days going through the search results for Viktor Shaumberger, as I have. Then you can make up your own mind whether this is something you want to test.

I worked with a consultant and said he used something like Microp, water, beach sand in a research project and grew healthy tomatoes to full term. He's done stuff like set up seaweed extraction plants for something like a Maxicrop knockoff. Microp is really a diluted version and the 'real' stuff only gets exported for some reason. Fixes N right out of the air.

somewhere I remember hearing the atmosphere is about 78% N, so if only some one could figure out how to capture all this free nitrogen. . .

Nitrogen fixing bacteria. I know this is a hydro thread but that's what happens in soil and have talked to someone that actually did do it in hydro but he's a scientist geek type person.
