Weird thing is auspost still say they do western union money orders on their website but only at certain outlets...?

"You can send and collect Western Union Money Transfers from more than 3300 Australia Post retail outlets around the country. Simply look for the Bank@Post™ sign at your local outlet."

rantan will become famous soon enough
this sucks badly
sure Western union can do it but it will cost you an extra 30$ on top of a 200$ order compared to what Aus Post charged
those cc seem hopeless to get one past the crazy security check though

Have you given any thought to supplying a bank BSB number with an account number. I have done this with Planet Skunk. I just go to the nominated bank pay the cash into their bank account with the order number then send an email with the date and order number on it. Don't use them any more as the last batch of seeds did not germinate. Been using Seedboutique and paying by CC.

Aussie Postal orders can ONLY be taken for orders if they are made out in GBP-UK Pounds Sterling....then they can be cashed at the post office in the UK....

They are talking about Electronic Transfers NOT Money Orders bro.

I believe I did read a thread in seedbay forum a while ago where somebody was asking if they can transfer funds.

To receive the funds ....
Quote:
3. Let your receiver know about your transfer. The money you send will be available within minutes for your receiver to collect at any Western Union agent worldwide.1 You'll need to provide your receiver with the Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN) that is printed on your receipt (your receiver can't collect their money without this number). Your receiver will also need to show valid government-issued photo ID when collecting their money (for example, a driver's licence with photograph or a passport).
Dang, id to be shown.

We cannot by Western Union Money orders any more, not for 6 months we haven't. Could you talk to Gypsy Benji and see if they will accept Western Union Electronic Transfers?

i'm stressing, I got a $40 auction i won but can't pay for it

That's why I almost feel bad for ranting, but....

Perhaps breeders who delete grower experiences if they're negative are missing out on important feedback? As a buyer, I'm disgusted by these practices and am angry that the people on icmag aren't getting the whole picture about strain problems before they buy their seed "
