Just recently the Seedbay and Seedboutique bankers in the U.K. have started to refuse to take Australian Postal Money Orders(in Aussie Dollars).....

....So if you are ordering from either of these two companies please find an alternative method of payment or your Australian Postal Money Order will be returned to you......(unless it is made out in GBP-UK pounds-sterling)

CC's....cash or Western Union M.O.'s will do also....

...sorry for the bother....

Like I have stated......the bank recently has stopped me from being able to deposit Aussie Postal M.O.'s (postal orders)........so I'm sitting on a whole bunch of them that I cannot cash......and the orders have already been sent out.....

There are other ways to pay for orders as stated e.g. CC's (Seedboo) or cash (Seedboo & Seedbay)......and that seems to work just fine for many.....

The bank did happily take the Oz postal MO's for years, just this last week or two they have changed their policy........bummer.

Is there not a third party you can cash them through? At least that way you won't have a stack of useless MO's that you can't get anything out of, even if the fee they charge is outrageous (as it usually is for that sort of thing). Just a suggestion.

I will try and find somewhere else that will take them, but most all of them say that they can only be cashed in Oz....

You can try and make payment with any CC on Seedboo and see if it will pass thru the security checks.......most seem to.....

The bank will still take W.U. mo's.....

Can you not cash them in an aus bank account, Gypsy?...surely with the international trade th@ goes on you would have an Aussie bank account?...and they would have branches in the UK?...

Wh@ was the reason the wanks....er, Banks, gave for not cashing Aussie MO's?
