So I have my hotel all booked- and no way to get into the Dam.
If anyone arrives into the Dam in time and still needs a hotel PM for details.
According to the hotel policy there are no cancellations 1 week before the booking -
Cancellation policy

The cancellation policy of ITC Hotel Amsterdam:
Cancellation free of charge is possible until 7 day(s) before the arrival day.
The full amount of the reservation will be charged in case of a cancellation or if you do not show up (no-show).

If I cant get to the Dam on Sunday then I wont come at all and I will have to loose the cost of the room.

SO AS THE FULL AMOUNT WILL BE CHARGED.- I OFFER MY ROOM TO ThE FIRST PERSON WHO NEEDS A PLACE TO STAY.

hey Cannawinner, i feel ya man, probably won't end up making it either now. but you don't pay for the whole stay, you just lose the reservation fee. you didn't pay the whole amount in advance did you?
normally speaking the reservation fee is lost is you don't cancel inside the 7 days or what ever amount of days the deal stipulates.

I did not pay aything yet. But the Hotel insists on full amount if cancelling 7 days before the arrival date.
I have managed to reduce the amount and only pay for 2 nights and not 4. Which is I suppose better to loose half then all.

I ended up being charged for the 1st 2 nights, 17th and18th.
So any dates after that are nit current.

I just cancelled my card so they couldnt take any money..
