Colorado Clean Needle Exchange Bill

It's about time for our fine State to start treating drug addiction as a public health issue, and not a law enforcement issue. |

I was so glad to hear this made it through. Needle exchanges are much needed programs, plus Cob, like you said it's a compassion issue not a legal one.

Here's hoping the Republicans harm-enhancement and pro-disease position comes back to bite them. Every Coloradan who suffers an incurable disease, like Hep or HIV, from an unintentional needle prick is another casualty of prohibition and these policies. This position indisputably victimizes innocent children and health care/sanitation workers.

I don't like it. Now a Pipe exchange would be nice, take old clogged up pipes and give these poor smokers a clean glass piece. I think i'm onto something.
