Best yielding outdoor strains for Germany

Hey guys,

A buddy of mine and I are going to do an outdoor grow in south Germany this year. We are thinking of trying out Power Plant from Dutch Passion, as it apparently is a good outdoor yielder. We hope to get from 100g-1kg per plant. It may be too high, but it doesn't hurt to have dreams. I've seen a couple of U.S outdoor grows where the PP yielded 2.5kgs. Not sure of the latitude though.

Has any of you tried Power Plant in Germany?

Do you have any other strain recommendations?

We won't be able to start the plants inside, so it will be straight from seeds. Planting will be early May. We will make holes in the ground with a mix of water retaining polymer crystals and time released fertilizer. Perhaps we also will put a fence around the plants, and snail slugs. We're also considering aquiring some carnivore urine to spray around to keep deers and other weedmunchers away, if we can get a hold of it. If not, we will just urinate a bit on our own around the growsite.

Any advice is welcome, as this is our first outdoor grow. We do however have a few indoors under our belt.

i had nothing but bad luck in germany outdoors. strains i tried were early girl, ed rosenthal, oriental express and ingemars punch. ironically only the eds produced some smokable results, tho it was not finished and very low yield. but nice smoke!

buddy of mine had some good success with lowryders tho, its very low yield and not so potent but pretty good smoke and he plans to simply have a whole army this year to make it up for it.
this year ill try leb27 its supposed to be a quick bloomer and ready at end of september at best.

I didn't say PPP (I assume you are referring to Purple Power Plant from Nirvana), but Power Plant. It should do well outside, no?

But I am getting more convinced that Frisian Dew is more suitable. I can't find too many European grows of PP, but there is endless praise of the FD.

Will grow about 50 plants...hoping for a kick-ass yield.

Since the growsite will be around 400km from where I live I won't be visiting much. Maybe I'll drop by after a couple of weeks and top them, but that's it.

60-100l holes sounds good as you say. I hope I can find some good time released fertilizer to mix into the soil. If prepped well enough, I hope to come back late sept/early oct for a huge harvest.

PP and PPP are nearly the same!!

You know is is big projekt!!

Mhh 50 a letz say 60l are 3000l of solid!!
For 50 plant in the size your wanna go you need a very big spot...and a very save, too
min. 20000m² - and without training its hard to come close the your targget!! longtime fertilizer YES - but every 3 weeks you should be check them and add new fertilizer!!!

okay frisian dews are your strain....big fielding indica and fem. you need fem. seeds if your not able to check for the males!!!

60l a 15€ = 900€ or mix the solid by yourself!! but than its not easy to bring it to the spot!
60frisian dew (straight from seed not all with grow!!) = 500€
all other stuff you need ...200€
+ gas...??
= way more than 1500€ = you could also buy 200 good lowriderSeeds and run them in the corn field ca. 1500g or more and way way less stress and less money!!!

than you need to camp at your spot!! first prepare all hole very very good!! than harvesting and manicuring all the weed unless you wanna drive unmaicured buds home
drive your letz say 10 kg =ca 80kg wet 400 km home

RESPECT AND GOOD LUCK and plz make a thread!!!

Yeah, I know it's a lot of work. Have already ordered the seeds, 50 feminized Frisian Dews. I know not all of them will make it, but most of them hopefully will. I will sprout them in paper towels 24 hours before they are put out.

We will do several spots, probably 5-10 different ones, maybe 1km between each.

Harvesting and manicuring will be done at the spots, and also drying. Will bring some big plastic camouflauge things to hang the buds under so they can dry.

We're 2 people, so we can probably prepare the spots in 2-3 days I think, if we work hard. Not sure if we will buy soil...it depends on the quality of the soil in the ground. We will stir up the soil and make it really puffy with one of those tools, looks like a wine-opener in the end you know. Don't know what it's called.

I will do another big grow with AFs longer up north, around 65 deg N. Hoping the midnight sun will do its wonders. Will be running around 1000-1500 Diesel Ryders. It will be a pain in the ass to sex them, but I'm set on doing it. If I'm lucky, I might have feminized Diesel Ryders. It depends if I have the time and resources to make them myself...

3rd, I will have a grow longer south, around 45 deg N, with about 50 Diesel Ryders and 20 Easy Ryders. This will be done in the early summer. Perhaps I will also grow C99, Hashberry and a couple more at the same spot. I am wondering if I should dare to plant a few of my Flo seeds, but since I won't be checking on those plants until September I'm afraid it could be a waste. Maybe I'll plant 2-3 seeds... with a proper fence, snail slugs, water crystals and time released ferts it should have a good chance of making it through the summer alone. I've been reading Julians thread "MASSIVE OUTDOOR GROW", and it seems very doable. He plants 6 day old seedlings and picks them up in the end of the summer - no maintainance. The crystals make all the difference, he had plants that were basically planted in rocks that made it.

I know it doesn't make sense to have the smallest grow of them all the longest south, and the biggest one in the north. But this is how it has to be done this year because of personal reasons. Next year it will be different.

Cool sounds like you mean this serious!!!
yehh Julians thread is great!!
wish you good luck....its def. not easy!!! I had such dreams too - but after 1-2 grows they were gone!! lol

but its possible!!!

1.Solid is one of the main keys for big plants and big field!!
2.I do not know if you have already find the spotz you are takling about!! My main focus by finding spotz is not the solid!! Its how safe the spots are!!!
i have planted(mid. may) preveg clones like you!! and as i came back moste were very very small for the long period!!! It was the solid!!
Some i was not abel to find becasue the surrounding vegtaion eat them!! Watch at it, too!! May is not september....a lot other stuff will grow until then!!
A gps will help to find them again!!

Again good luck....would love to see you carrying several kilos home!!
