Well go Mens Warehouse!!!!!!!
I hope they see huge increases in business from this community. Some of us are still buying suits and renting tuxes. Glad to know he is on our side.

This is very good news.
Glad to hear that George is putting his money where his mouth is, ... ( and where his mouth has been for a long, long, time ). We knew George back in the day, and he's not the only guy in that circle who's become successful since moving out West. It's fairly certain that all of them are now contributing to the cause. That link will go to several old friends, and is certain to draw knowing smiles. Last edited by Bass Akwards; 04-15-2010 at 12:00 AM.. Reason: clarity |

Alternatively, it's important for us to withdraw support for those who take actions and speak against our community. This is how we change the world...

The very last time I wore a suit to work was years ago, in New Orleans of all places. I was working the door, and occaisionally the champagne lounge at an upscale (lol) gentlemen's club on Bourbon Street... I bought my wardrobe for the job at Men's Warehouse.
I have been needing a new leather belt. I think I know where I'll get it.

He guarantees it! Is he still doing those commercials? Does he have his beard still? lol
Edit...my wedding TUX came from him.

A pimp-suit no less. I actually grew up in a modern orthodox Jewish family. I wore a jacket and tie or a suit every saturday of my life till about 15 when I stopped going to temple. In my early 20's, I was a mortgage consultant and wore suits all the time. Sometime in that same period I decided to never wear a tie again. That men have been convinced that something tied tightly around their throat is anything but a leash, is pretty bizarre to me.
I still rock a suit from time to time. Its a classic 3-button black wool joint whose cut has been stylish enough for the last decade and probably has another decade left in it before I look like the guy who pulled his bar-mitzvah suit out of mothballs for the wedding. I still refuse to wear a tie for any reason.
