this is my first grow im growing in canna coco using canna nutes im 4 1/2 weeks into 12-12 according to the canna nute chart it says in the final week or two to stop all nutes appart from boost.

so my question is this do i stick to the caana chart and feed boost upto harvest or do i have to take into account for a week or so of water flush.

the reason i ask is because i was reading another members grow journal and he said "whats the point of giving your ladies a habit only to make them go cold turkey" and before i could ask him about it i lost internet connection and couldnt remember his name so now im throwing it open to anyone with any advice

I'm on day 68 of flowering an OG#18xSkunk from Reserva Privada and I'm running RO water right now. I adjust the pH but I'm not running the boost. I did run a little molasses and cal-mag+ with the first watering 5 days ago, but haven't used much of anything since.

The reason I'm doing this is because I can't really drain my plant where it is, and I can't really move it, so flushing isn't possible. I figured that running just water every day for a week was my best option. After maybe 5 days I'm noticing some leaves are starting to drain of color which indicates to me that the media is mostly devoid of nutrients and that the plant is feeding on what is left in the fan leaves like they were fat stores. I'll continue to do this for another 2 or 3 days then I'll stop watering and probably give a day or two of dark to finish up.

I don't use coco myself but I would think you would still want to flush with water only for the last week or so of flower to get rid of unwanted tastes and smells that come from your nutes.

i used canna boost on my last grow right up until harvest and it didnt harm the smell or taste what so ever! id say just go with it,boost is only plant extracts after all. have you noticed any difference in flowering speed using boost,im not using it this grow as i wanna see if theres any diff.

ps,i found it worked realy well as a foliar spray which i did til bout week 4.
it realy sped up pistil production

10 days before you bring them down just feed with water

....am doing 2 week this time round...got to flush those chems out

coco flushes quite quickly,like a few days.. 1week is plenty to get the chems out.but each to his own,no direspect bra just my opinion.
