Six inch Indica into flowering?
I have some Dutch Passion Green Spirit clones that are a bushy six inches growing in coco (pretty quickly) with Ionic nutes that I need to get into flower soon (they need to grow up and get cut down and move out before July 1 when my parents come to stay for the summer
) Can I stick these babies into flower when they are this short and still get an ounce or two from them (they are big bud and skunk #1 heritage) Thanks JD Co |

the information i am about to divulge is not from experience, it's from research. once you switch the light cycle to 12/12 your plants will stretch a bit, but not a tremendous amount. if your clones are 6' and you put them into flower, they'll get a bit bigger, but it's doubtful that a single one will yield near an oz. if you send em into flower now you're probably looking at harvesting ~5-10 grams. hope this helps!

Hi john,
6'in and bushy, you can throw them in flower now and have some buds by the end of June, a lot of plant stretch during 12/12 period, but some will go nuts and could double or triple the height. Hope that helps cheers, |

ive got to disagree with cannastan im growing k2 at the minute (an indica) i switched them at 10 days veg approx 8" tall, after 3 weeks into 12-12 they had stretched to nearly 33" and stopped im now 4 1/2 weeks in and i estimate that out of the 8 plants i should yeild about 16-18oz so i think you should give it a go if your short of time.
i am a neewbie this is my first grow but im speaking from my own experence at switcing early as i had limited space and time. good luck what ever you decide

Plan on a MINIMUM of 2-3x the height at flip. If yourgilrs are 6'' they will end up anywhere from 12-18'' at the end of flowering.
A good rule of thumb to go by

I'd go by how many nodes it has, it will stretch but how many nodes she has is a better indication of yield.
