Help From Micro Hydro Experts Pls
I am doing a PC grow with a decent size tower, 8.1"W x 26.5"H x 18.6"D using CFLs, hydro, scrog, 4 23W CFLs (plan on increasing), 2 intake fans, and 1 exhaust fan.
Most reservoirs that (barely) fit are either 4 quart or 6 quart, and recommend two plants. I think I have finally found the PERFECT reservoir for a PC! The width is smaller than most, so you can easily close the door – even with reflective padding on walls. It holds more water, so the height is a little greater. It has two connected reservoirs with two lids on top of each other. If I just use the bottom reservoir it holds 5 quarts, and provides vertical grow space of about 17 inches. If I use the top lid and reservoir, it can hold almost 9 quarts (over 2 gallons!), but will have only about 14 inches of vertical grow space. 1) Should I bother making this reservoir? Is the regular sterilite 4 quart or 6 quarts good enough? 2) If I go forward in making this should I go for 5 quarts with 17 inches, or 9 quarts and 14 inches? 3) With 5 or 9 quarts can I go to three plants? Thank you very much. |
