AZATROL I believe to be a very concentrated Neem oil, very efective..not cheap. Fortunately since I began using Azatrol per instructions, I haven't had a major flare up of the little buggers. I garden with a very watchful 16x eye and stay on top of things. Never assume that you're 100% critterless, it's just not smart IMHO. I also make it a RULE to never ever treat anything to be consumed in any fashion. So my available window of treatment is only during early veg , and since I run a perpetual harvest, I must maitain a clean and bug free enviroment through all phases. Peace

I use something called Azamax. The recommended application is 3 times over the course of ten days, and it completely got rid of my mites after one application. Plus it's OMRI.

Thanks!

I use Azamax and neem all the time and just when I think I've got the fuckers beat they show up again. I have them under control but I want them gone!!

So I'm going to azamax and neem every other day for a week. Then I'm going to introduce these mite killers. 3 times as many as recomended. I want them gone

She's Loaded!

I read your info and I like neem oil, clean and affective. My plants got attacked! MiracleGrow Potting Soil, one of the bags I bought was loaded with mites!

Has anyone used stethorus punctillum bugs? I found a site that sells them pretty cheap and ordered 300 of them. I’ve used predatory mites in the past without success. I’m hoping these are much better

Stethorus is a specialized spider mite predator in the lady beetle family which attacks the Two-spotted spider mite (Tetranychus urticae), European red mite (Panonychus ulmi), Spruce spider mite (Oligonycus ununguis), and the Southern red mite (Oligonychus ilicis).

Adults can consume 75 to 100 mites per day and large larvae can devour up to 75 mites per day, so they can quickly lessen an outbreak of spider mites. They are good fliers and therefore tend to concentrate in areas where mites are plentiful and disappear when the mite population becomes low.

The only problem I have had with lady bugs in the flowering room is they die and then attract more bugs. Just keep that in mind.
