I have one that's not listed anymore. I've used it now for over a year and like i said i love it....Its a little differnent from the one in the pictures. Same idea.
I use a $25 Home Depot blow torch to heat up the glass rod. It works perfectly! Best money i've spent on glass....

Picked up a green one in 14mm...The there are 3 holes around the side of the bowl instead of one in the bottom. It's sick and I use a Hakko 25w with it and BHO....Hash doesn't really work all to well IMO.

Sorry for the late post, but I have the green hot hit slide and I'm wondering if it'll work with Vriptech wand ? I love the hot hit slide by the way. I'm using BHO with the illadelph glass wands, but I'm getting tired of having to get out the blow torch every time and I fear the day that the glass rods crack and drop hot glass on my kitchen floor.

![]() - You won't get a tight seal to the bowl. Tried this just now, and in "rip time" with the wand right on the opening, it barely even got warm at the top. - The air holes are at the top of the cavity, so even if you could get a tight seal, hot air wouldn't ever make it down to the hash. It would be awesome if someone started making specialty bowls for the vrip wand tho... Perhaps a vapor globe style bowl with a platform for hash/oil and a small cone on top for the wand to seal against? As of now, the best way I've found to smoke sift or hash in the vrip bowl is to use a really fine screen that is also a bit dirty. Prolly doesn't help the taste much though. I also like to put a little weed in, then a pancake of hash or pile of sift... Then take 1 small hit, which mainly heats up the hash/sift, then stir it up so it is all mixed in good. With the hash mixed into a small amount of weed, you get a ton of surface area for the hot air to hit, and thus super milky & potent vape rips. This method works great for most any vape that pulls hot air down through the weed really.

Hi Mr BJ....err let me rephrase that :-)
Mr BongJangles, thanks for the very informative reply. I appreciate it Holes at the top... Doh ! I should have seen that and realized what a stupid question that was. Yah, it would be very cool if someone would make slides/bowls for using concentrates with the Vriptech. Cheers SB7 |
