Hi Firefly 22,
I was talking with Gerrit on the last HTCC 09 and he told me that the regular biddy early started better earlyer to flower.... so may be you try the regular seeds!! greetz cloudz

I bet thats right too.
ive got a group of the fems 3 weeks old right now, theyre nice plants with good germ and vigor, but ive thought to myself that it would have been difficult to work with the phenos that autoflower during the feminization process so i figured gerrit probably had to select some of the longer flower pheno's to feminize. Just me thinkin, which has been problematic in the past... |

Hi Firefly
I can't comment on the SB stock as I do not have any control on that, but both versions are available. @ D.S. The semi-autoflowering trait did not play a role in the feminisation process since the pollen donor is still a Warlock, which does not show that trait. The semi-autoflowering mother is the same as used for the regular version. However, the change from a male to a female sibling as a pollen donor in this cross did seem to have some effect on the autoflowering trait as well as the average/overall harvest date. The fem version is approx 1 to 2 weeks later and I have found no autoflowering phenos so far. But they have only been evaluated (by myself) in open field conditions so far, so I can't rule out the possibility that they will still show this trait when there is some pressure applied to their roots. Although I had wished to remain the earliness of the regular version, the overall equality of both versions is excellent so it's a relative small concession to make. The up-side to it is that it will be much more easy to maintain mothers. I hope this clears things up a bit. Regards, Gerrit |
