Got some dud Grapefruits - Female Seeds - International Cannagraphic Magazine Forums

got a 4pack and all seeds are/were very whitish almost lookin premature???? o well guess i have to buy another 4 pack

i did the last one is in in the seed starter.....the other 3 soaked for 72 hours and never cracked, so i put in paper towel method for 3 more days to no avail....had 1 just discentigrate on me and the other 2 have yet to do anything??? anybody ever heard of it taking 1 + weeks to get the seed to just start cause ive gotten these seeds before and in 2 days i had a green leaf comin up...o well...like i said im just gonna buy a 10 pack of grapefruit and hope for the best (ive germed around 20 seeds and only had these 4 to not germ)

dont get me wrong femaleseeds grapefruit are wonderful....my first grow with them i had 4 weeks into flower and they were jaw dropping (before katrina decided i didnt need power, water, or anything else for a week and a half) my buddy saw these and decided to grow because of this plant they are that good lookin and smelling. The way i look at it is that these guys made about 10,000 packs and a few of them gotta be duds due to sheer probability. So here is how im going to resolve this whole dispute...buy some grapefruit, white widow, and nevilles haze seeds and get hi as hell

had a similar experience...all 10 grapefruit beans were very whitish...only 3 out of 5 planted made it above ground...i planted the worst looking 5 of the 10....

one died, never developing a set of true leaves....same conditions as the rest, dunno why

2 others looking good....so can't complain...perhaps the seeds were very old...were not from any outlet affiliated with this site anyway...perhaps the "other bank" didn't have up to scratch storage methods...

sorry about the seeds bro...have to ask why the hell does anyone use the paper towel method. kiss...plant em in your growing media, replicate mother nature...ive almost always had success soaking my seeds in distilled water for about 12 hrs, gently agitate the water, live seeds sink dead ones float, plant good seed in your chosen medium...which for me is a quality soiless mix that i augment with various ferts, water and keep warm...usually pops the soil in 2-5 days having allready firmly established its taproot

That's what the GF seeds looked like that I had, whitish & small, totally different from their Northern Light seed that was a larger more angular. With both strains the experience was a 100% for germination & female plants, no herms.

Dr. Herbani im not worried about the seeds man like i said out of a few thousand seeds there are bound to be a few bad ones its just logical probability....

i cured the situation by getting a pack of x-line c99 and some omega deisel ...... in 3 months im gonna be hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiighhhhhhh
