Flyn Dutchmans strain desciption of Fuma con diablo's (sp?) it lists their skunk#1 female at around 20-25% THC! And thats ALOT higher than any skunk#1. Is this a mistake or wtf? Im ordering the pure anyway but no one seems to be able to answer this ? appreciate any info?

I think it's just a very good specimen, probably from a very large selection of specimens (maybe thousands). Unlikely to be found in a single pack of seeds...

They've renamed "Fuma Con Diablos" "Titan's Haze" btw.

Numbers are screwed. If it represents total volume that would mean over 20% of that plant is thc, which is laughable. Heck we are not even sure of what percentage of the heads content is active. I believe those numbers are like flowering times, they are only useful to compare within the company giving the numbers. Peace GS

GS, most skunk#1 's are listed around 9%thc and FD's states we crossed the Haze w/our own 25% thc skunk #1 female to create Fuma con diablos(Titan Haze). Do you think this is a typo, cause I believe Haze is around that %. Could they mabey have meant their Haze being 25% thc. I dont think that that cross could be that high considering skunk#1's having such a low %?

i agree!
a while ago,there was a discussion on a german board
about a seed breeder,that estimates on of their
strain´s thc´content with 50%(yeah right,50,not 5),which
some people actually believed.the seeds cost 2 or 3grand
a pack as far as i remember.
it really took some time,and maybe some(for them)painfull
thoughts,until the idiots,who believed it,to relialize,that
it´s just some perky scam and not the new wonder strain.
some of them came up with ideas like:"if it wasn´t that good,
why would they charge that much money for it?"


i,for my share;think if it´s possible at all for cannabis
to reach the twenties,in terms of thc-percentage,the
number would refer not to the smokable bud,but to a
completly dried sample.maybe even without stem.
like made up for labor testing,or sompn.

btw:did not intend to compare the flying dutchman to
such phony posers like the ones mentioned
above(forgot the name).
just an extreme example for what people might also
believe,in terms of breeder´s information bout strains,
when they don´t use their brains.

Stems? They test a single hand picked calyx.

I had some variation in my last The Pure grow, potency wise.
But 20+%, I don't think so, not even close.

Yea I agree...most skunk#1s are more like 10%thc and under, BUT Im still curious why Flyn D posts this in their skunk x haze(Fuma con diablos)(sp?) cross.?
