PGE's new rate structure
This could be good for us. Lower rates for top tier users. Here's PGE's statement. https://www.pge.com/about/newsroom/ne...ic_rates.shtml

i think they're just throwing a bone, and a small one at that, to the folks who are pissed that the new smart meters they didn't ask for are charging them more than before. I talked to a PGE meter reader the other day and she said most users notice a spike in their bill a month after getting the smart meters even if their usage hasn't gone up.

I don't see how the smart meters can charge more. Doesn't make sense, unless they are logging bogus kWh's? Anyway I'll be off the grid soon enough so PG&E can do what they like. I've had enough of them.

Still laughing my ass off over their loss on P16. The irony of creating a proposition, supposedly to "stop local governments from spending taxpayer money" to fund municipal energy supplies, while using nearly $50 million dollars of ratepayers' money is just too fucking much. They're practically a criminal organization.
As for the smart meters, it may have been a deliberate scam that backfired. |

Well, I am in favor of smart meters if for no other reason than the PG&E Gu(sp)y doesn't have to come in my backyard.
