Topping while flowering?
The plants are about 3 weeks into flower and are about 4 inches away from a 150 watt hps, through a scrog. the box is about 3'x3', and its more of a personal grow, so yield isn't a HUGE concern. What can I do at this point to control the vertical growth? Thank you!

correct me if i'm wrong, but isn't that where you pinch and bend the branches down below a node?

yes, LAMBS is right, you dont want to top now - try and get some more height somehow by moving the lamp up a bit or bend them over, sometimes with scrog you can get your hand under the screen and pull the long branches down an inch or so - then stick a pencil through the loop of stem to stop it popping back up again.

It can be scary the first time but, here's the thing. If a stem splits open, no worries. A twist tie or similar will close the wound and it will heal in a few days. Here's a split large enough to stick my finger through, the lighter is for scale purposes only. If a stem snaps, as though breaking in two, no worries. Just line it back up, throw on some twist ties or similar. When it heals in a few days, fold higher up. When I tried topping in the flower stage, it just pissed her off and vertical growth simply got worse.
