Hempy Nutrients
Hi everyone!
Is there a consensus on what the best nutrients are for Hempy buckets? I grew 3 large plants under a 600W in a 4x4 area and got about 14 ounces. I used Lucas Formula plus KoolBloom and molasses. I have 9 plants now that all about half the size of my last round, but I'm shooting for an even 2 lbs. I have another 600W in that room now so I'm looking at 1200W total in a 4x4 closet. I'm completely out of nutrients and I want to start flowering in the next 4-5 days. Any suggestions? I'm considering AN SensiAB plus Big Bud and Overdrive, and possibly Bud Candy. Anyone else have any suggestions on nutrients that are easy to use and will maximize my yields? I have awesome strains so I'm not worried about the potency or flavor... yield is the main concern here Thanks friends! |

I have the same question.
I have been running hempys for a couple of years using the full FoxFarms line up. But, I was reading more recently a relatively comprehensive nute study and it seems to think that FF is not exactly the greatest nutrient regiment. So, now I've been looking for a nute regiment more specifically made for cannabis. I think anything made for hydro applications will work well. I have a friend running the GH regiment and he seems to like it a lot. On the another hand the AN regiment has also gotten rave reviews. I'm curious to see what other people think. Peace, sg

I have seen a coco hempy bucket with GH floranova and the above GH additives. Plants looked super healthy with no yellow leaves what-so-ever (even during late flowering and a 2 week flush). Plant was lush healthy green throughout its life. I am not sure if staying green throughout is a good thing, but it worked for that grower.

i think general consensus is that all hydro nutes will work well in hempy.

GH Flora Micro and Bloom per lucas or rez and some molasses.
Simple yet effective and large, sugary, sweet buds are your reward. |

that's exactly what I've been using.
It certainly gets the job done, but I can't help but feel that if I can do something as simple as measure things from a different bottle than I do now and increase my yield, it's definitely worth a shot |

looks like you are already dialed in..I'd veg longer/top more for increased yield.
