AN & Rosebud Magazine...?
Hi everyone~
The local gave me a copy of Rosebud Magazine... something that appears to be a really nice trade mag... presumably put out by AN itself... so really just a glossy 162 page advertisement...? This one is dated Jan '10. Just went to their website (rosebudmag.com)... and appears a 'lifestyle' site... just to note. The question I have is that on pages 118-123 they have advertised their new nute program (looks to be the same product line-up... in their hobby/expert/pro/grand mstr bundles). The new twist is that they claim it is "pH-PPM PERFECT"~ absolutely no need to pH your solution... regardless of what water source you use! Word for word: "pH balancing technologies automatically make sure your plants get maximized feeding no matter what pH your water is." Basically says throw your pH & EC pen away...? Any ideas on how this might work??? Can only find this advertisement...

I use Nutri+ line of nutrients:
https://www.nutri-plus.ca/company.html ...with a few AN tweeks here or there. ( Cal/MG Bloom, Carboload, RhinoSkin, Overdrive ) Nutri+ nutrents are created with RO and does not vary your reservoir ph at all. This allowed me to monitor and notice that even overdrive is trying to auto PH. Which is great for ease of use for hydro, aero or coco..............but the auto-ph nutrient abandons those who need 6.3ph. AN claims they are going to come out with a coco formula also soon. But coco ph is basicly the same as hydro ph. ( just add some cal/mg for coco ) With their new auto-ph nutes......To me it sounds like they now need a 6.3ph soil nutrient formula before a coco nutrient. As for their auto-ppm's. Well that is just refering to them having a feeding schedule chart to help you follow ( ml/L ). So I guess you can say all major nutrient companies have a auto-ppm schedule. AN's auto-ppm sales hipe is about nothing. |
