Need advice insight!

Any ideas on shed type greenhouse systems would be appreciated. Keeping in mind that the more "shed like " the better.

Im thinking a shed body of sorts, with a shade cloth top...read about it in a Mel thomas book yrs back. Any one try it? Containers ..mix.....yield all ideas appreciated.

I'd go with a heavy poly like on Greenhouse's. Better light and nobody can see what's underneigth

Assuming the reason he's talking about using shade cloth for the top so that light can get through... I don't think using lightproof poly would work in this situation.

Check out corrugated polycarbonate. Much more appropriate for the roof of a shed than cloth would be. You can get it clear, or if you're worried about stealth, you can get them white, and it seems like they allow 45-50% of light through.

Edit: Actually, just came across this stuff. Solex lets about 70-75% of light through, and still seems stealthy.

Limiting the area for sun to come in to just the roof really cuts down on the amount of sunlight you get, have you accounted for that?

While searching around for more info for this thread, I found a really good thread on this topic. Check it out, I'm sure you could get a lot of info out of it! Corrugated Fibreglass Roof Panels
