In the current UK heatwave the four norms are amongst the strongest smelling as the temps hit the 90,s , very chemical/solvent for now on three but this one is generic C99 with noticeably smaller trichomes but more of them.

Pretty good for basic soil and shows promise , the freaks are a welcome and personally interesting bonus but these are the main event.

Thanks Doobie , was partly your photography that inspired me to get a decent camera and take it more seriously on canna and other subjects.

Day 26 of flower under a fresh new sodium and as much sunlght that overlaps the 12/12 , good trichome coverage for this stage of a guesstimated 70 ish.

Visual differences are subtle but the four express individual traits of structure and leaf form but no obvious pheno split in this small sample , the male bolted to 5x flowering height and the girls 2x.

The strange one could not look more different in leaf form and every other trait , no male flowers but the detail bud structure looks a little odd.

Next up is Jolly Bud , most popped in 12 hours , cross is Sweet Tooth1.1 x Blockhead , same males used in this one , could be something really special here.

hej hej foomar

youre doing a really fine job with those PE's .. , just as you did in every other testgrow you have done for me and thank you very much !

all 4 normal looking plants are definately blockhead leaning , chemical lemon cleaner , sometimes transforming to lemon mixed with petrol/crude oil is one of the smell's coming from the pure Blockhead male i used , im relatively sure as i found the smell in Jolly Bud , Sq2xBh and Monte Zuma

here's a pic of a blockhead leaning MonteZuma

and here are 2 pix of a pure Blockhead female , expressing spear shaped nuggets

Thanks fjällhöga , since the first freebie pack have found stunning plants every time and rarely a poor one , keepers of both sexes cross out well and the lines are remarkably stable.

The three most mutant in form have ever so slowly vegged despite the best conditions i can provide but they all made it.
There is some mite spotting but they hardly touched them and laid no eggs , possibly they sensed an unhealthy plant and moved to healthier neighbours that they badly damaged.

Opinion differs as to wether the mutation is caused by excessive inbreeding of a tiny genepool or is viral in origin.
Looks cute and i like freaks and have the room , not breeding material for sure but maybe freak of the month.

Two are throwing out seemingly normal shoots from lower nodes that show no deformities so far.
Will take a cut and see if it reverts/mutates.

All four have the Blockhead look and the pink older pistills , some variation in detailed bud form and structure within these extremes.

This one has a spear like shape developeing and a strong solvent odour , like sniffing glue.

The odd male seems to have sorted itself out and starting to look normal.

What a difference four days makes in full flower , getting pretty sparkly with some extremely sharp odours at day 35.

the mutant one is still stable but looks a bit scary in places , clumps of fresh pistills are yellow at the base and look just like early hermies , an alarming trait have seen in a blueberry or two.

Fans on this one are of DC proportions up to 18 inches , totally unlike the leaf pattern on the norms which is very sativa in nature.

Have dusted some buds with the mutant male pollen for the hell of it , could be some interesting non lethal mutations in there and i do like freaks.

Thanks Sleepy , these have turned out well i think.

Day 42 and every one is distincly different in detail of bud structure and odour and all very good , nice foxing on one.

This is my favourite and the one i pollinated the most on the lower branches , smell is just like nothing on earth.

The freak is doing well and will finish first despite being flowered last , completely different fine structure on seperate branches and one totally male sideshoot removed , otherwise stable.

From a slow and messy start the odd one is finishing fast , from the look of the trichs will be done around day 50 - 55 , following clone vigorous and normal in veg , plant smells of the industrial solvent MEK with a twist of lemon and is new to me and rather nice.

Give the freaks a chance , most growers would have culled this one yet it could end up a keeper if the taste is as good as the smell suggests.

So far all of the four norms look to deserve a second run which is unusual and will cause chaos down the line when i have to choose keepers on personal taste.
