Soma are you entering anything into this years HTCC if so what strain???i have been a huge fan of your work and have grown out a few of your strains so i was curiious to know if i will be lucky enough to taste your work in a few weeks????

He sold Amnesia Haze to De Dampring for there entry but they renamed it Silver Haze. Rumor was to make Greenhouse upset about the name. It won so thats good but they shouldn' have renamed it. Leaving no credit to Soma.

Bex I think your sadly mistaken the silver haze at de dampkring was sensi seeds original silver haze. not soma's amnesia haze, they are quite different in my regards. soma entered lavender for his indica entry and won 1st place. I smoked with him after the awards ceremony at the melkweg with our friend from wicked jazz sounds. ps this thread is damn old dont knwo why it was bumped up but i had to clear up the incorrect info. Here our pictures from our HTCC 05 trip. Hope the pics clear up your thought bix and help show difference in coffeshop quality overall

First Original Silver Haze from De Dampkring

Second Soma's Amnesia Haze from Katsu

dampkring is a much more commercialized shop now especially with their "The Official Joint of Ocean's Twelve". Katsu is a much nicer coffeshop in my opinion. plus killer buds at katsu, everything on the menu is amazing.

No i am not mistaken. Soma was very pissed they didn't give him credit for the win of his weed he sold them to enter.

i bought both buds this year at the dampkring amnesia haze and original silver haze. i am almost one hundred percent sure they were not passing amnesia haze as silver haze simply because sensi seeds is the main seed company dampkring deals with and sensi seeds paid for the party the dampkring through this year called the smokers ball. it doesnt make sense that sensi seeds would sell another seed companys weed as their entry to the cup isnt it? the first day of the cup dampkring did sell out of their amnesia stock(i know i was there the first day). amnesia haze is more a brown bud than silver haze is. if you could show me differently ill believe you. original silver haze only took 3rd place while lavender won best indica from a seed company, so i dont see reason for soma to be mad. i wish i had a pic of the amnesia from dampkring, but my girlfriend and i only took shots of entries and shit that was stellar. amnesia haze at dampkring was nothing compared to the amnesia haze at katsu hands down.

Amnesia Haze at the Katsu isn't the origianal Amnesia Haze. Yes i what Soma's because Derry couldn't buy any becuz Soma sold his last kilo of Amnesia to the De Dampring which they entered as Silver Haze. Evilash was told By SOMA himself they did this. PS sometimes Soma calls his Amnesia Haze Silver Haze to sell it easier. Now lets hope Soma can come in and lay you straight.

id like soma to come reply to this too. A because he owns soma seeds B cuz dampkring was pushing sensi seeds the entire cup. but if this is the case i would be very disappointed by both sensi seeds and da dampkring. hopefully soma can help is answer this question

that's absolute crap... i smoked that Original Silver Haze during the cup and i can say with 110% assurance that it was NOT Amnesia Haze...

the amnesia has a much milder, softer, sweeter kind of taste to it while the Silver Haze is much more like Original Haze... a bit harsher, lemon-hazy kind of taste...

they were making a big deal out of how it was Sensi's Original Silver Haze (Silver Pearl x Haze), which isn't even very closely related to Greenhouse's Super Silver Haze (Haze/Skunk1 x Haze/Northern Lights)... the Dampkring even had videos of the plants in every stage of development... growing in the Sensi Museum grow room...

so Bex... plain and simply, you don't know what you're talking about...

especially in the coffeeshop competitions (htcc) the weed is RARELY supplied by the breeder... believe it or not plenty of people grow Soma's stuff..

oh... and captain frag... without trying to sound like too much of a crackpot, i'd like to add that your picture of Amnesia is indeed the real deal and not something else passed off as it... amnesia has that darker green/brownish color and it's real dense and sticky...
