new to it all
hi i'm new to all this got a 1mx1mx2m grow tent with a 400w hps & carbon filter.
its my first time growing ive got 9 k2 on the go, i think i gave them to much nutes when i 1st started and had the light to low so some burning. since then 6 have flourished 2 have reluctantly started pulling but i think 1 is a lost cause. i switched at 1 1/2 weeks to 12/12 3 days ago. ive found some very useful info on here thanks guys |

Hey Bud lover,
I am new to the site as well. I am not new to growing. I was wondering; what are you using for nutes? What are you growing?

My questions are how far along, how many leaf sets, were the plants at 10/11 days? Are your K2 plants clones or from seed?
You should probably expect these plants to stay very short. Maybe they'll add another few inches, but they'll probably be no wider than 8" in diameter. Expect about 7 grams or so from each one. Any more is a gift, any less and it's probably due to a nutrient or media issue. |

Canna huh? I have not had much luck with it in my circle. So you are in coco? I have been thinking about making the switch from soil to coco. My other friends are all over it. They tell me that it is easier and not as much of a chance of nute lock. I think that you chose the right medium for starting out. Good luck with it all...

I used Canna this grow coming from Fox Farms.
I followed both systems directions and would say Canna gave me 100% faster growth. Not just that but also much stronger and thicker stalks. I had a whole time table for when I was going to start flowering based on the behavior of my plants on Fox Farms. I wound up switching my plants over way too late and now they are slammed to the ceiling with 4 weeks left in flowering. I chose to supplement with a little Cal-Mag+ to add calcium, magnesium, and iron to the coco which it needs for the ideal CEC. I've also chosen to add Liquid Karma and Honey ES to supplement the biologicals in the media. |

Man, all the nutrients experience on this website. I don't doubt that your words are true about canna. I think maybe I was not following the proper system directions? I had no ml per liter on the back of the bottles. Where did you find your info for how you use the product? Thanks.
