hey all , i was wondering on what % of blue moonshine plants turn blue? will i be guarenteed to get a blue one in a pack or is it kinda a rare thing?

In all of DJ's lines you will get the blue hue. In the Moonshine I would say at least 50%.

DJ short says right here...

"Therefore, if I sprout 100 f2 seeds and find one female plant with any number of desirable qualities, and I successfully find a male f2 pollen donor to cross with, and the ratio of these same desirable plants in the f3 generation becomes at least 1:50 (preferably 1:30 or better) then I consider myself on the right track and proceed from there. If a subsequent cross of the f3's provides a ratio of desirability in the f4's of 1:20 (or closer), I am definitely on the right track. In essence these are the (general) numbers I look for in the early breeding trials. Suffice it to say that my informal observations have proven true enough for me to be able to judge desirable results with adequate success, despite the approximations."

So it would seem that a special male and female would exist in 3-5 packs of his seeds, but the possibilities exist for that special mom in 1 out of every 2 packs..I think thats right..anyone correct my false logic..

Mine turned real blue, all of them. I did have a 20 degree lower temps when lights out which helps alot.

You can turn all kinds of strains purple or blue with colder night time temps.

JLP's Ultimate Moonshine is one bluish purple lookin beast and he started the Blue moonshine in there.

Fabulous news....I have just been goven a clone today... all the stem and leaf veins are completely purple...yaaaay... because as long as the smoke is good, then why shouldnt it look pretty lol.... I cant wait to see how coloured this turns out....
