Hello. I just moved to the city and I am seeking work. I have a solid resume with awesome references, and a variety of abilities.

Attached is my cover letter, and upon request I can provide my resume for legit, actual inquiries.

I really need help finding employment, the city is huge and competition is fierce.

COVER LETTER:
Dear Employer,
I want to work hard because I am a hard worker.
I want to be challenged because I enjoy learning new things.
I want to work towards a worthwhile goal and leave work feeling satisfied
I want to work with people who enjoy what they do.
I want to make mistakes in the name of learning from them.
I can detail clean like no other
I listen and and pay attention very well.
I am young and enjoy putting in a full day of work.
I have experience with food, construction, child/ elder care, music and art.
I do not complain, cause problems or drama.
I want to help you,
I can learn anything,
Let me show you..

Lots of "I want" in that cover letter. Might want to tighten that up a bit.
