Want to TEST GROW some Johnny Blaze?
JOHNNY BLAZE ![]() (Photo supplied by Legends Seeds) An Original "Neville's Haze" female crossed with a slightly sativa-leaning Blueberry male. The "Haze" has a green-citrus boquette with borderline woody undertones, while the Blueberry male adds a sweet-fruity flavour. Due to the genetic difference between the "Neville's Haze" female and the "Blueberry" male (both considered a P1 generation in this cross) I anticipate a uniform f1 hybrid from the cross along with very healthy hybrid vigor (high yield potential). Also, the f2's (and beyond) crossed from these f1's will probably prove very diverse. A party just waiting to happen! We are pleased to be able to offer you the chance of doing a test grow of Legends newest release Johnny Blaze. From looking at the photo, and reading Red's description, sure makes me wish I had room to give these a go myself! Below are listed the requirements for you to be considered for this particular test grow. Please read carefully and only reply to me if you meet or exceed ALL which is listed: 1. Must be able to start all 10 seeds immediately upon receipt of seeds. 2. Must be able to document (via text & photographic posts) here on this site, from germination to harvest, by maintaining a test grow thread here in the Legends Seeds Test Grow forum. 3. Must own (or have readily available) a digital camera for capturing high quality photos of the different aspects of your test grow from germination to harvest and uploading these photos into your test grow thread on a regular basis. 4. You will need to show photos of all germinated seeds as well as your germination method, and indicate your germination ratio. 5. You will need to update both text & photo posts in your test grow thread a minimum of once per week beginning when plants have been placed into flower. 6. You must be a contributing member of this site, with a minimum of 100 previous grow related posts. 7. Must have a gallery on this site which already documents, in photo form, your growing abilities. Should you wish to be considered, please send ONE PM to me detailing your grow area and should include such information as: lights (watts, type), soil or hydro, specific medium used, nutrients, ventilation, additional equipment you will be using, e.g. digital PH/EC combo meter, handheld battery operated PH and EC meters, use of Co2 injection, etc. There will be 4 test growers selected at this time. Thanks! ![]() dg |

sounds interesting, but like it may be a bit too much on the slow flowering sativa side of the growing realm?
any basic flowering time line info on the strain? ...I'll pass for now... since I try to keep my rooms full with faster indicas during the winter months and save the slower flowering sativa for the summer good luck to those that do get in on the grow |

I'm looking forward to see these grown out by our fellow ICmager's. She is a very long flowering plant, 10-12 weeks. The Blaze is with out a doubt worth the time, if you've got it!

Red -
I just posted this question on another thread about JB, but I was wondering how much these stretch after initiating 12/12. I'm one of the test growers DG selected. I'll be growing them either SCROG or LST and I don't want to over-grow the space, so I thought I'd ask. It looks like these are sativa dominant, so I expect they will grow too tall for my garden without training. Any other info to help us out? Are they nute sensitive? Any particular elements they like more or less of? I'll be growing hydro (either ebb&flow or DWC, I haven't decided yet) and usually use GH Flora series with the Lucas formula (or close to it). I may have a couple of C99 or C99 mix plants in with them. Thanks for the help - and the seeds! |

Test Grows????,,
I would love doing a test grow,as I am legal ( In Canada, my medicine for pain , aniexity, etc is what I grow ) & need to try a new strain. I have a aeroponics 36 site, with a 1000 watt HPS, enclosed in a wooden cabinet, with an air cooled fixture, 319 cfm's pushing out the used air, CO2, which keeps the room at 1600 PPM, & a mother/cloning room , in another wooden box. Thanks, I have been on Cannibis world since 1999 , should have signed up sooner on this site!!!!!! Thanks Again !!!!

Julman - follow the directions & send a PM to Dutchgrown. I don't think there are more Johnny Blaze seeds available, but test grow seeds come in periodically.
Send her the info she asked for in her message about your garden, etc., and tell her the next time you will be starting seeds for a crop. |

I started four seeds gifted by Bacchus. All germinated and unfortunately 3 were males.(overcrowded seedlings perhaps?).The female was very nice.I crossed her to a Deep Chunk male and now I can´t wait to grow some of these beans
![]() Here´s a couple shots of the female,nearly ready:
