Sweetest Cindy 99 by Dutchgrown Seeds

The seeds arrived safely on 3-5-10, and are in good shape. I will put them in the soak tomorrow morning, and I am so excited to have these. These could turn out to be my favorites.

They look excellent, nice big dark seeds!
Here they are fresh out of the mail.

Thanks so much DG for making these available. And SeedBoo gave me extremely fast delivery.

I am interested to see which part of the cross shows dominance. Since Sweet Tooth #3 is the mother, I would expect that to really shine through, but I hope the spicyness and potency of the Cindy gives it that good kick you expect also.

The plants will get first class treatment. I would like to run these outdoors, but I know it will need to be very dry during flower, and Cindy sometimes is a spider mite magnet. Maybe I will veg outdoors and finish inside. We'll see how it plays out with the weather and bug situation before I decide. It is normally bone dry in my area, but this El Nino year has really changed our weather pattern to very wet this season.

I know not to use pesticides outdoors prior to putting the plants out there because it kills the mites natural preditors. I'll start out with a few plants outside to gage the bug activity before commiting the whole garden. I will invest in Lady Bugs if necessary also. I usually dont have to much trouble, but I'm always thinking ahead.

Here they are soaking for 12 hours.

Sweet Tooth is a very sugary plant, it's mite candy so be careful outside! I am willing to bet that by the looks of those beans and knowing the Sweet Tooth plant very well these will be quite Swt #3 dominant. This of course is a VERY good thing!

Yeah SOTF420,
The combination of the 2 strains sounds like bug candy to me also. I am only considering it at this point because of the performance you get from the big MH in the sky. With constant monitoring and an army of Lady Bugs, I should be able to finish outdoors, but some plants can be troublesome.

Either way, if not the sun, then I have new 1kw bulbs ready if I decide to run them indoors.

Here they are in germination right now. From the looks of the seeds, it should only take a day or two.

Sounds awesome man, if you can put some sticky gooey substance at the very bottom of the plant rubbed on the base of the stem you can usually avoid most of the mites on the plant itself as long as nothing else is touching it's leafs. I know the organic purists won't like it but some vaseline works wonders in a pinch. Some people use hemp oil too although you have to make sure to keep putting it on if it rains alot. Just a thought.
