F.D. Royal Orange
Hi there!
I would love to hear more or see more of Royal Orange. I've got these beans and also did a little work with a couple males, but never flowered a female. Anyone have pics or maybe F.D. has some that could be shared? I think it's long flowering time may be the reason indica lovers avoid this strain, but I've a feeling it's something fantasic. Any contributions/thoughts?? Thanks! db |

I have a feeling you're right...
Looks like top notch smoke and a good yielder too. Grow them out and let us know how they do. I found these pics with a google search.
This picture has a bit of a glare but you can see that the plant doesn't have much of a stretch and is a good yielder. Looks like it's going to be easy to trim. Here she is earlier along in the flower cycle. I hope that's given you some idea of what you were looking for. GreatLakes THC

I will dig in my box of pictures to show you some soon.
Royal orange does take between 8-10 weeks, just as long as most other quality indica strains. Good luck Amsterdammer

I've always wondered what the genetic relationship is between Royal Orange and the original Cali-O that Sam helped develop which Aeric got his cut from?

I have also grown this strain and it is a keeper very orange aroma I loved how it smelled very nice buds but the pics I got are on OG so I dont have access to them right now. But I liked her so much I am slowly reveging her under a 22watt cfl because I dont have anymore room for her so that way she grows very slowly
I want to try to take clones but have never had much success with that. I cut it at 61 days into 12/12 which was a huge mistake on my part cause it gave you more of a head high.

PRZCVCTM : Dutchmen's Royal Orange is sam's Cali-O x Skunk#1. The difference is that the Cali-O used is a longer maturating one, but extremely sweet. They used (TFD) a sweet skunk#1 as a father. Not while ago they was offering California sunrise, wich is ( skunk#1 x quick cali-o) x quick cali-o if i remember correctly. But the sunrise was not as popular, and not that good, so they went with the D.R.O, and Haley's comet ( quick cali-o x skunk#1). And about sam's Cali-O, i think he breed it this way - (Columbian Gold x Afghan) x thai. But i may be completly wrong. Skunk#1 is (Columbian Gold x Afghan) x acapulco gold.
