Medicinal pot growers busted for trafficking

This makes me wonder if its even worth the hassle of getting a license. Cops will probly find some way to get access to the name of license holders then come knocking.

I believe when you get a gun license you are obligated to sign a form saying you will not traffic arms.

You don't think that should be the same as drugs? Don't be blinded by love man. Marijuana is still a drug; and drugs can cause trouble. If you sell a key of coke and the deal goes down bad, people shoot. Just because it's green and makes people happy, doesn't mean a pound of weed is free.

People should be responsible with their license and stop fucking it up for the rest of us who wish to get one some day. Cops checking grows is absolutely logical. Fucking hassle yes, but they're not stupid; as much as we think they are.

I think cannabis should be treated EXACTLY like another drug...

Alcohol.

Edit: And with Harper and Nazi -cons holding power? I sure wouldn't want my name on their list - he is not good news for cannabis - medical or not.

c-15, ETA April, with a nazi-con dominant Senate...

Peace

Now that situation is different. That's an American thought process. Let you grow, but just before you crack off your first harvest we're shutting you down. Oh thanks for the tax money though, peace. Assholes! I hope Canada is still her own country in 50 years. :(:(

Health Canada refuses to give the RCMP any info on medical users. These guys are just coincoidences and that's all.

For the same reason you cannot have a licensed helper that has been charged with any drug offence in the past 10 years it is to keep the system from being abused. Even tho these guys would make the best growers ie past experience. lol

Not quite true, when you apply for a license you sign a document that states that you agree to have HC notify the local PD that you are now legal, but this is meant to help not harm. I now have the leo on my side, so if need be I can call them if someone decides to rob me. Now I have to call BS on anyone stating that they have been arrested and charged if they are within there prescribed limit. Police do however have the right to check on your plant numbers and whatnot and will harrass you if you are cought breaching your limits, mainly because HC will not prosecute if your caught with a few extra plants, you need to be caught with an excessive amount that the only logical explanation wold be trafficking. I have had my license now for 3 years and yeah, LEO knows whats good, but they do not bother me.
