Hi all,

Here is a pic of my very first attempt at making hash. It's made from only the very best trim and small to medium buds from my last crop of Biddy Early and AK-47.
I just used the best of the best of all four plants, and mixed them together. Then I used a two-bag Ice-O-later (I have to get me one of ther multi-level kits to all the grades) and did everything just that way they said to in the instructions, and and I also learned a lot form reading things here.
It turned out 6.4 grams of the smoothest, "get-yer-head-tight" smoke I could have hoped for. And with that exact same almost chemical taste that I remember we used to get from this tarry black stuff for ten bucks a gram in Souther Califormnia (I'm talking in the early 60's here) that used to get us three or four of us long-hairs sooo stoned so pleasantly.

I couldn't be happier with the results! So, for all you folks out there who have been drooling over all the photos of primo hash, I'm telling you it was easy-peasey to do.
I rigged everything up and went through the entire hash-making process from fitting the electric mixer to a board...to spreading the fresh hash paste over a plate to dry to dry...in about three and a half hours. Then I spent a couple of hours to day working the hash in my hands until it turned that lovely dark brown colour and went all sticky.

I smoked a small piece today in my pipe just before going into to town with my wife to look in HomeBase. I took a total of five medium-sized hits. The smoke was smooth but expansive, and has a very distint sort of chemical taste to it.

I felt nice and relaxed about five minutes after I got into the car and we started driving. My wife was at the wheeel, of course. As we neared town I decided that this was definitely going to be a stoney smoke rather than a trippy high. Boy was I wrong!
I closed my eyes because they were getting so heavy, and the next moment I was in cartoon land, chattering away to people in my head as my wife wheeled the car through town. Very trippy smoke, as in when you listen to certain music on the radio it takes you to somewhere from your past for a few seconds and you're like really there for a bit.

The best part of the high lasted maybe 1 1/2 hours, and now, as it's mellowing out, I don't seem to feel quite as tired as I did. It's like the couch-lock effect is wearing away just as easy as the high is. Very nice.

Overall, I think my first try at making hash out of primo parts of some super Biddy Early and a great crop of AK-47 leaf and bud material, was a great success! It get's me as toasted as I want to get without smoking my nuts off, and it has a very nice "let-down" after ther high is gone. What more could you want?

Thanks Dave, that was a fine writeup on your hash. I plan on making some with the trim I'm harvesting now. I should be rolling like you are real soon.

Yeah, thank in part to all of you who kept encouriaging people here to try it. I did, and I can tell you that if you smoke a bit too much of this at one go, you will hallucinate!
I was having perfectly acceptable conversations with "folks" the last time I allowed myself to get stoned to the bone. No paranoia, no fast heart-beat, no "rushes". Just immensely pleasant to smoke and experience.

It is so strong that I gave half of it away to my brother-in-law today just so I wouldn't be tempted to smoke so much of it.

In 55 years on this planet, it's the best I've ever smoked!
