i second the jack's recommendation. but jacksprofessional.com. it's their commercial series. they have now come out with a "hydro" special that looks just like maxibloom on paper. 25 lb bag is less than 50 bucks. i paid almost 200 dollars for a 16 lb box of maxibloom.

later, D9

I'm looking at " Jacks Classic Orchid Special", which is 30 - 10 - 10 NPK ratio.

It's $9.00 for a 1.5 lb tub.

That should be perfect for the vegetative stage, correct?

I'm looking at "Jacks Classic Blossom Booster", which is 10 - 30 - 20 NPK ratio.

It's $9.00 for a 1.5 lb tub.

That should be perfect for the flowering stage, correct?

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Ordering both online, plus UPS Ground shipping would cost me about $30.00 USD.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Btw, are "Jacks Classic Nutrients" organic or chemical bases?

I'd rather have the general purpose for veg than the orchid special

just plain old organic npk pellets , i use different ones during veg and flowering

During veg i use 7-3-5 en during flowering 6-4-11 and i add bone meal

Of course you also need lime and maybe some compost

Been using same bag for 2 years now
