I hope I'm asking this question in the right area. Here goes... I have a 1000W duel arc HPS-MH light. Does that mean I have 1000W of each coming from one bulb or 500W each from the one bulb? The duel arc shines two different rays, red & blue at the same time so I was wondering.

If it is a 1000w dual spectrum, than it is a total of 1000w, not 1k of each. Probably 600 HPS/400MH if I had to guess. Still have the box?

I like em and use it. The lumens is a little less than a MH on its own and less than a HPS for sure. But the spectrum is great.
For vegging i use one of these dual arc bulbs and two of these, they kick ass: https://www.eyehortilux.com/blue.html This spectrum is nuts for vegging, i have seen faster lusher growth with this combo.

Still have the box but it does not say what the split is, just dual spectrum. Thanx much! Seems to work real well so far. It's on 6ft move & the closest it's been to the girls is 2ft. Just did a flip on some CJ's & SK's with it after 34 daz. CJ's were 30" & SK's 21".

yea, normal is 60/40. not 2k total. the hps usually always is the 60%. u should have some great results with the fuller spectrum. gl

Hello friends,
I have a question regarding the grow-box. So, there is a light reflexive foil which is used for road signs and markings. Would it be suitable to cover the inside of the box with it?
