I was watching it all until the scary Russian ice skaters came out dressed as clowns. I couldn't sleep after this.

I only care about the hockey. But I've been tuning in to random events when I have time to kill. The downhill stuff is badass, people seem to eat shit constantly. Luge and Skeleton are crazy too, seeing as you can die and all.

Thanks for the responses everyone!

Ive been laid up at home resting from some recent surgery, so I find myself with a whole lot more time to watch television than I normally would, and the Olympics have been a great distraction.
Like many Canadians, Hockey is and has always been a main draw, but have really enjoyed many of the other events as well. Just watching the Men's snowboard half pipe as I type, and it has been fantastic so far. Great competition and outpouring of energy from all the young competitors!

Go Canada go!!

Yeah..I love Shaun White! Great athlete and A terrific ambassador to the sport I think. Hard not to like him though, I find his persona and enthusiasm are infectious!

I think your right about the womens Hockey final being a given Randy. It should be a great match up alright, both teams are looking really strong!
Im thinking the U.S Mens team has a good shot to make it to the finals as well, but theres no doubt the Russians are in tough. Cant wait to see..may the best team win!

Damn the Canadian mens hockey team sure looked flat playing against the Swiss tonight, I sure hope they plan on elevating their game for the next round or it will be over for them before they get started! Ouch! To their credit, I thought the Swiss did play very well, but given the difference in overall skill levels between the 2 teams, it should never have even been that close!? Hey Syd..thanks for sharing the link to the pics, gonna check them out for sure!
