FLORANOVA Bloom + WHAT additives DWC Hydro
What are some people using as 'flowering-enhancers' and
boosters to use all through flowering? I used GH 3-part for vegging and now use FloraNova Bloom for flowering (week 2). I plan to use Ripen for the last 10 days but want to incorporate something else for the aggressive blooming. I have no experience with KoolBloom or Nectar etc. just looking for some help on what you have used with success ! ![]() peace |

i use both nectar and koolbloom liquid and dry along with the novabloom under the lucas formula
I dont have any problems but at the same time I have nothing to compare to. But im not dwc im passive so but i dont think that really makes any difference. |

Used to use FNB in DWC...until I got a bad batch. Crystals all in it, plants suffered. Made the switch to Maxi-Bloom, and like the results. Going to add some floralicous + next run and do a side by side.
FNB works, but mixing sucks. It will ruin your meter, trust me. Keep ur probe clean, and in storage solution...FNB leaves a film. Maxi-Bloom is a dry fert, cheaper, cleaner, and execellent results. I like my roots to look nice, and with FNB things get ugly looking and I have had some root problems in a few buckets. Its just really thick stuff for DWC...but I had a few good runs with it and it is easy as hell. Im sure it will turn out great, but if your not sold on FNB, give Maxi a try next run. |

and have a dual-diaphram pump powering one 5gallon so there are a ton of bubbles and the FN stays very well mixed with no salts/grime building up at the bottom. I change my res every 4 or 5 days anyways and sterilize before the next dose. |

I use the floranova series (bloom and grow)... and I find in flower I HAVE to supplement Cal/Mag or else I see a lot of spotting.

If you have a couple good meters, there is no reason to switch your nutes so often! Your wasting nutes. You can just top with diluted nutes and keep your EC/PPM at the right levels. If you dont mind doing all of that, then keep at it...but your spending more money and more time. FNB works good, but there are better options for DWC. Good luck |

floralicious plus at 1ml/gal throughout bloom
liquid koolbloom at 2.5 ml/gal during transition ramping up to 5-10 ml/gal through bloom yeah it's right off the general's chart but it damn sure works. I vary ph between 5.5 to 6.5 and rarely have cal/mag issues |
