Rock Races (for lack of a creative name) is a recent favorite my friends and I ironed out the other day. It is a simple game where rocks are floated down stream on ice. The rock that goes the furthest without sinking wins. There are four simple steps:

1) Find and pick up suitable ice sample to make a raft.

2) Throw ice.

3) Find and pick up rock. (Tyson is still looking for his ice in a block four inches thick.)

4) Throw rock onto ice and watch the fun.

An advance version is to play in a certain amount of time with no limits to the number of rocks you can float down. If you look at the first picture again, you will see some rafts successfully floating away.
