i am currently trying to find a doctor that is willing to prescribe and sign my mmar forms, without any assistance from my new general practitioner, the physicians and surgeons of Manitoba, Manitoba pharmacy, Manitoba health, or health Canada.

there are fewer and fewer doctors to see in Manitoba, there are only 2 doctors taking new patients in Winnipeg, that is how i managed to get a general physician. every one of my former doctors from my general physician of 17 years, pain clinic specialists at the health science center pain clinic, st.Boniface pain clinic , neuro surgeon have all either retired or left the province.

my general physician has refused to even sigh my passport photo to be submitted with my MMAR application, he does not want to be associated with what he calls a controversial topic. health Canada nor the college of physicians and surgeons has a list they can provide of doctors that may be willing to sign my application.
health Canada recommended i visit every doctors office in the city and inquire if the doctor prescribes MM. this is impractical my mobility and my access to transportation is limited. if they will not take any new patients, health Canada does not realize the shortage of doctors in this province.

i am in the same sinking boat. i could elaborate a lot longer on each step of my search so far, but those are the avenues i have tried.
i still have hope that i will succeed. if i am able to find a doctor i will let you know as well how i have succeeded.
