What is Seattle like?
Hey guys and gals,
I am graduating in June with a Master of Science in Software Engineering, and have bachelor degrees in computer science and IT management. I also suffer from Crohn's disease. Right now I live in a non-med state, and after graduation I want to relocate, get a job, and get legal. I just want to be able to grow my own meds and not have to worry about going to jail over it. I have come close to being caught this last year, and I have had to stop growing because of it and it blows. So anyways, I know the Seattle area has a good technology industry and I will be able to get a good job there, but I am wondering if anyone can give me some insight on what the medical scene is like. Thanks for your time |

Best friend is up there and says he can have 15 plants. Not too shabby. |

Seattle has a great MMJ community with a TON of old strains dating back to the early 1980's. Washington MMJ people do a lot of trading with Oregon MMJ patients. One strain to definitely look for if you move there is one called 'U-Dub' (from medical experiments conducted in the early 1980's at the University of Washington). And because of the number of strains sold to Neville (The Seed Bank Catalog from 1988) that came from Sacred Seeds in the Pacific Northwest, you can still find original Northern Lights strains/cuttings dating back to 1984 or so and not having gone through the Dutch seed deal. Does Washington have clubs like other states? I think being able to source clones would be nice because I really hate keeping mothers. But hell if I was legal I probably wouldn't even care about that as much

No - Oregon and Washington MMJ laws do NOT allow for the sale of anything, i.e. medicine, clones, etc. I can tell you from personal experience that you do NOT want to violate these laws if you're busted - judges in both states take the position that the citizens of our states have allowed medical patients to grow all the pot that they want without legal problems. Violate those laws and get in front of a judge and you'll be bitch-slapped like you can't believe. They are extremely hard on medical patients using the MMJ laws to become black-market growers. Trust me. CC

bah
I love the green everywhere. To get the green you need a few sprinkles. Mountains on one side and fresh ocean air on the other. Summer in the northwest is special.
