I have some blue moon rocks & bogbubble that are 5 weeks old and only 7" tall, should I wait until they are taller before I go to 12/12?

toofat: I know your waiting for a reply from Bog but wouldn't that depend on how much room for height you have in your grow area? That's how I decide, that and if they preflower.

Hey Skag, wow man....only 7 inches at 5 weeks?

Are you growing in soil? I switched to hydroponics after seeing the difference in growth at all stages of production and I have not looked back since. Hows your drainage in the medium? Sounds like a possible rootbound situation maybe? Ive found that perlite can increase drainage and airation drastically.

Outlaw: This is toofat's gig, I've gone hydro as well been doing it for a couple of years. As far as only being 7" that might not be bad it sort of depends on the structure of the plant one of my LifeSavers was 4" and had 12 nodes one bushy little sucker.

Toofat: How tall is your grow area? Mine is 8' and I let them go till there 12- 18" before flower and havn't run out of room yet.

I have 8' and they are very bushy.

Once rooted they will take off some but most of either of these don't grow on too bad in flowering. Bogbubble does get a lot bigger but not often very tall and the LS has 2 phenos, one of which is leggier. I would say at least another week in veg with some good nitrogen ferts is in order before flowering depending on your set up. BOG

Then I think it comes down to personal preferance do you want big or do you want smaller more compact. With 8' of head room you actually have 6.5 to 7' of grow room the rest is lights exhaust, space for plants etc. this is one of those that you get to play cause it's all good in the end.

I have been using 1 tsp of pure blend grow per week starting the 3rd week. Do I need to use anything else? As I stated I have 8' in ht.
