Costa Mesa Raid on Dispensary, Four Arrests

Costa Mesa, California which banned medical marijuana dispensaries in 2005, has now raided a dispensary which it says is operating illegally. Four people were arrested and Costa Mesa police warn that there will be more raids and arrests.

The legality of the dispensary operation will be called into question, as it may violate city laws, but not necessarily state or county law.

I wonder who was getting mugged/robbed/raped in that city while they were raiding a place that helps sick people? I think their community would be safer if they put as much resources into welfare checks on sexual predators, following up on unsolved cases etc...

Attacking crime is hard. Brutalizing stoners and med users is a lot easier and safer for the doughnut eaters

Peace,

whenever you buy, rent, lease land or a building in any
city in the US you agree to abide by 'city ordinances'
which usurp all other state, county, even federal laws.

city ordinances prevail; no cars to be parked in
driveways over night would mean exactly that.

no flower beds allowed on Main St = no flowers!

just because medicinal marijuana has been enacted
in the state does not mean that cities have to give
it room to operate w/in the city limits, just over the
city line would be OK but not in town, wanna change
that? It's lawsuit time, you'd need residents that live
IN the city limits to bring the case successfully.......

these laws are based on s.b.420 being an illegal modification and like blue dots salad:tossed.that said the city attorney can hope to see these collectives and dispensaries fight back in court.I hope one of these members whom is severely disabled maybe sue the city under the a.d.a.?which definitely trumps any modern day anti medical marijuana temperance union bullshit.newport beach and costa mesa are a good reason of why I would never want to see marijuana taxed to fund any kind of state, county or municipality.

City ordinances DO FUCKING NOT PREVAIL IN ONES HOME.

No homosexual living arrangements UNCONSTITUTION (see Walker v. Texas).

No Interatial cuples UNCONSTITUTIONAL (see Loving v. Virginia).

So city fucking ordinance about you can grow X inside your home buy not MJ is UNCONSTITUTIONAL.

You see we have a FUNDAMENTAL Constitutional right to pirvacy, religion (weed is my religion, THERE IS NOTHING I DO MORE RELIGIOUSLY) Not a SINGLE FUCKING THING in this world is more religious to me than weed.

So unconstitutional infringements on privacy, religion, FREE ASSOCIATION, and expression must be fought; not suckled as your post would imply.

Peace,
